So what is the Lean Body Challenge about??
Essentially it is a 28 day fat loss challenge consisting of healthy eating and quality training.
It's not about dieting, it's not a faddy type programme that you see all the time in the papers or on the TV. On the contrary, it is a programme based on sound principles of healthy eating and quality training as designed by myself, Brendan Chaplin. You receive daily emails from me and DAILY support through the private, members only facebook group and twitter accounts.
It's this combination of daily communication from myself, and daily support from the other people on the challenge that makes this challenge such a success.
Oh and the other thing is, IT WORKS!!
The results so far have been in one word STAGGERING!!
Many people on it have lost well over a stone in the 28 days with an average loss of over 5kg's or 12 pounds.
To put it simply, that kind of fat loss is literally life changing! Not only does it mean your clothes fit you better (or you need to buy smaller clothes!), it means you are healthier too, and that is what really matters to me as your coach!

Why should you listen to me though?
Well for one, I coach people EVERY SINGLE DAY, FULL TIME from my base in Leeds, UK. I've honed my methods over the years so that I know exactly what works and what doesn't.
I've taken out everything that doesn't work and kept everything I know gets results.

I've been a high performance strength and conditioning coach for almost a decade now and have worked with pretty much every sport under the sun at the very highest levels including Olympians and professional athletes.

Academically I have a Master's degree in strength and conditioning and am accredited through the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association, the highest level of qualification in the UK.
I have also studied nutrition at Master's level and am a certified nutrition coach through one of the worlds leading nutritionalists Dr John Berardi.
My experience in the industry combined with my qualifications gives me a pretty good appreciation of what works and what doesn't!
However, the main thing I would say about myself as a coach is that I actually CARE about the people I work with. I actually want them to achieve the best for themselves and I want to help you through the Lean Body Challenge.

The Lean Body Challenge was a great wake up call for me. I have always loved working out and eating well but could never stick to something for more than a few days. By having the support from Brendon and the other people doing the challenge I found it really easy to stay on track and have learnt a lot to take it forwards on my own in the future. Being in the fitness industry myself I have always known how to do things and what to eat but my biggest challenge was sticking to it long enough to see good results. In the 4 weeks I went from 76kg down to 72.5kg and am aiming to get into the 60's. Along with my weight shifting and feeling great my volleyball game improved immensely so I am extremely happy with the results. Thank you Brendon for all of your support and energy you put into this, I would highly recommend this to anybody who is looking to make a permanent change in their lifestyle and not just a quick fix.

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge you set out, I'd previously been quite focused on doing weight-training and was often too lazy to do much cardio and when I did it was hardly taxing so this gave me a new impetuous to really get on with it as there is no way you wanted to shirk it and then have to admit it to the group! I found giving feedback to the Facebook group extremely helpful as this was the part that kept me disciplined rather than just thinking about getting an extra hour in bed (if it was a morning session) or heading straight home after work because I couldn't be bothered. The initial weight came off quickly in the first 10 days or so and there was some kind of body re-composition going on with the weight training. Not only did I lose body fat but my fitness really improved, I played rugby on three of the weekends and could feel how much more stamina and energy I had around the pitch which hadn't really occurred to me when I started on the LBC. I feel that my clothes were becoming looser still.
After all of that I would really like to say thank you for letting me take part in this, it has been a tough but enjoyable period but I feel that I have learnt more on the nutritional side of things and the cardio based training really has become a valuable part of my training methods now. I feel that it is a great product which is enhance by the support of the facebook group with everyone being in it together to share their ideas and experiences.

The Lean Body Challenge was absolutely excellent. Previously I think that nutrition had held me back through lack of protein but I truly believe I am able to continue both weight loss and maintain a healthy lifestyle going forward. I think the most important piece for me was the fun attitude and varied activities. There was always something new to try and look up. The coaching was excellent with the you tube instructional videos a really aide to getting correct form whilst doing some of the exercises.

I thought the challenge was brilliant throughout, nutrition was a lot easier than I thought it would be and never felt hungry (apart from the fast day!) goes to show that you can lose weight by eating healthy and cutting down on starchy foods & sugars! Constant support & motivation from Brendan and others within the group all happy to answer any questions that I and others had. Varied training sessions that really helped to make the difference and fitness has definitely improved! All in all 5***** and would recommend to anyone who is interested in losing weight the right way and an opportunity to change your lifestyle for the better!!

What happens after you register your interest?
You will receive an email with the details of the challenge on it, then you just need to join the group through the link provided, and get going on the 12th. I'll be in touch before the 12th with some info to help you with your food shopping and meal plans etc for the week.

Let me answer some questions that might well be on your mind before you register your interest:
- Do you have to be in good shape to take the challenge? NO, absolutely not! You just need a willingness to improve your lifestyle. The training programme has different levels for different people. I can assure you that you will be able to complete it, it's not that hard!
- Will I be starving myself and be hungry all the time? NO, in fact many people who've been through the challenge already commented just how much they can actually eat on it.
- Will I get the support I need to complete it? ABSOLUTELY, I will be with you EVERY STEP OF THE WAY and make sure you get through it okay.
- Do I have to make a large donation to charity? Not at all, you can donate anything you want. Your donations will be private, no one will see except you. Just donate what you think it's worth and what you can afford to donate. No pressure from anyone.
- Is the challenge more suited to men or women or particular body types? Nope, its suited to both men and women equally. We've had everyone go through it, men, women, little, large, tall, short etc etc, everyone can benefit.
- Can I fit in the training around my work routine? Absolutely, there are lots of different sessions and something for everyone. You will be able to do it as it will fit around your daily lifestyle no problem. We've had full time athletes, full time office workers, firemen, and factory workers go through it. Everyone has managed to do the training side of the challenge.
- Is it going to cost me a lot of money for my food during the challenge? NOPE! You spend as much as you want, there's no pressure to buy expensive food, just to create healthy food with what you have!
- What other benefits will I see besides weight/fat loss? Besides weight loss and fat loss you will feel A LOT healthier in general. This is one of the main things people have noticed and it's a real bonus for me personally that this is the case as its exactly how I designed the challenge. I wouldn't be surprised if you sleep better, have better skin, are less tired, and more energetic all the way through and after the end of the challenge too!
- Do I need to know anything about nutrition or training before I start? Absolutely nothing at all! You will be taught EVERYTHING you need to know to get through and learn valuable lessons along the way too.
- Will I need any specific equipment for the training? All the sessions are designed to be done either at home with no equipment or in the gym with basic equipment. There is nothing fancy at all, just good old fashioned basic training! If you don't have a gym membership don't worry you can still do everything at home.

- You don't need any special equipment, any previous training background whatsoever, need to know anything at all about nutrition.
